Bitch session

So, I just have to have a minor little bitch session.

I was just reading a comment on FB where people were ohhing and ahhing over Fifty (aka Edward in Master of the Universe aka Fifty Shades of Grey and Fifty Shades Darker).  Now, I too am a huge fan of Fifty and for this reason I bought both books.  EL James is an AMAZING author and is a person just like us other ficsters who took her fanfiction and made it into her own work of literary art!

Now, having said this, it really burns my ass that people think it is perfectly acceptable to take their downloaded copy and share it with someone who can't bother to buy their own copy!  Don't be a cheap bastard!!!  Support our new writers!

Okay, I feel much better now! {Mwah}

I FINALLY got my twitter account hooked into here {doing a little happy dance}.  I know, I know...simple minds...simple pleasures.  So what does that say about dirty minds???
I found this juicy little morsel on FB from Twilology 101.  Tell me this doesn't make your mouth water for November 18th???

Begging and Pleading

So, I am hard at work on chapter 27 of AVitD and was thinking about posting a little teaser on here.  But then I thought, why do that?  No one actually READS my posts on here.  So why bother?  Right?  It is that whole tree in the woods type of mentality.  Soooo, if you would like to get a little sneaky peaky...you know what to do. ;)

Peace & love

Chapter 26 AVitD

Chapter 26~Loopholes and Sharing Something New

Bella took Carlisle’s hand and silently led him into their bedroom.  She bit on her lower lip; a habit that carried over from her human life.  She did not turn back towards him to avoid showing her excitement blended with a touch of nervousness.  When they entered the bedroom she left him standing alone at the end of their bed.

“Bella?” he said in question.

“Shhhh, patience,” she responded in a sultry voice.

If his cock could get any harder, it would have torn a hole in his shorts.  Bella walked around Carlisle’s desk and brought out his Champlain arm chair.  She set it on the floor to his right.  His eyes followed her every move.

“Have a seat Carlisle.”

He swallowed back the venom that pooled in his mouth as her tongue caressed the letters of his name, especially the ‘r’ and first ‘l’.  He quickly followed her instructions as Bella walked into their closet.  She was only gone a moment when she returned with several of Carlisle’s silk scarves in hand.  She smiled deviously at the perplexed look on his face.

“You will ruin my fun and I will never get to finish the dare if you can’t stay sitting.” She explained as she began to restrain his upper arms to the back of the chair and his wrists and forearms to the intricate wooden arms.

“Bella, surely you don’t believe that silk will hold me in place?” Carlisle said with a small smirk.

Bella returned the twist of a grin.  “I don’t, but I do believe that if you rip even one of these scarves that I will stop the show, and you will become very familiar with the palm of your hand until our wedding night.” She finished with a swift kiss to his lips.

Carlisle’s jaw dropped at the insinuation that Bella would cut him off for four months, seventeen days and three hours.

She wouldn’t he thought as she started a fire.  Bella was bent over with her ass perfectly centered right in front of him.  She turned to look over her shoulder and he saw the burning in her eyes as she smiled sensuously.  Yes, she would.

Bella righted herself before heading to the walk-in once more and emerging with a large garment bag.  She walked into the washroom and left Carlisle tied to the chair with only the sound of the crackling fire to keep him company.  He shifted in the chair to try and alleviate some of the pressure against his swollen manhood.  He had been rock hard since Bella showed him the truth or dare card and his discomfort had not let up one iota.

The door to the washroom opened just enough for Bella’s hand to protrude with the iHome remote between her fingers.  The slight scent of leather wafted to Carlisle’s nose causing a gentle growl to build in his chest.  Soon the sultry sounds of Christina Aguilera filled the room followed by the long drawn out sounds of several brass instruments accompanied by a brush sweeping along the skin of a base drum.

‘Come here big boy
Ahh, mmmhmm, yeah

You've been a bad bad boy
I'm gonna take my time, so enjoy’

All rational thought drained from Carlisle’s expansive brain as Bella stepped into their room.

“Sweet baby Jesus,”he hissed under his breath.

Bella was dressed for sin in head to toe leather.  Her half jacket covered the studded and zippered strapless corset which led into the pleated micro skirt that barely concealed the swell of her ass.  The only skin that was on display for Carlisle’s ravenous gaze was the three and one-eighth inches exposed between the bottom of her skirt and the top of her thigh high leather boots.  The term ‘fuck-me’ suited them perfectly.  They had four inch heels and laced all the way up the back of her shapely legs.  The growl that had been gently simmering in his chest broke free.  The sound of his desire echoed in the room.

Bella smiled as she pulled her hair free of the loose bun it had been in.  The soft chocolate waves brushed against the leather; combining their scents.  Carlisle’s long fingers wrapped around the ends of the chair arms as he attempted to control his natural urge to claim his mate.

‘There's no need to feel no shame
Relax and sip upon my champagne
'Cause I wanna give you a little taste
Of the sugar below my waist, you nasty boy’

She reached up to the top of her jacket and slowly led the zipper down to its end.  Each tooth releasing its counterpart was like a doomsday clock in Carlisle’s hyper sensitive ears.  But before opening the flaps she turned her back to Carlisle; denying him the view he had been promised.  A whimper slipped from between his lips making Bella’s nipples harden against the smooth leather.  She turned her head to look over her shoulder as she shrugged the jacket down her naked arms letting it slowly slip to her fingertips before falling to the ground.  The sound of the silk scarves crying under their strain caused Bella to freeze.  Carlisle realized that he was pulling them to their breaking point and had to force himself to relax back into the chair.

Bella nodded in approval and began to sway her hips to the music while it continued to play.  It may have been a song of seduction but it was quickly becoming the background music to Carlisle’s demise.  She leaned into the hearth as she dipped down just enough to show the round curve of her sumptuous buttocks.  Carlisle licked his lips; wanting nothing more than to sink his teeth into the tender flesh—well, tender to him.

‘I'll give you some oh-la-la
Voulez vous coucher avec moi?
I got you breaking into a sweat
Got you hot, bothered, and wet
You nasty boy

Nasty naughty boy’

She stood upright, turning in Carlisle’s direction.  She began to stride towards him.  Her hips shifted seductively with each step.  Bella’s hands drifted down to the side of the skirt to pull at the bindings that kept it in place.  Without further ado, the skirt joined the jacket as Carlisle sucked in an unnecessary breath.  With the skirt gone, he could see that Bella was wearing a leather thong that tied up on each hip.

She turned slowly in time with the music to show how her ass was plump and naked.  She turned around once more and appreciated how his eyes were as black as night.  This may have concerned her as a human, but now it had the same effect as a red cape being waved in front of a bull.  She wanted him just as badly, and she worried that she would not be able to hold out much longer.  Her juices flowed to soak the scrap of leather at the apex of her thighs.

‘Oh baby for all it's worth
I swear I'll be the first to blow your mind
Now if you're ready, come and get me
I'll give you that hot, sweet, sexy loving (loving)’

She strode up to him and dropped to her knees in one fluid motion.  Carlisle growled again making the windows rattle as the sweet smell of the soaking wet leather at her center permeated the entire room.  She ripped his shirt open causing the buttons to fly across the room.  His shorts were nothing more than shredded parcels of fabric as she released his swollen shaft.  It wept at the sight of her, and she could not control the desire to have him in her mouth.  Bella swallowed him instantly until his tender head hit the back of her throat.

“Ahhh Bella!  You are killing me!” he called out as her mouth stroked him over and over.

The strands of silk began to protest—not being missed by Bella’s keen hearing.  She stopped.

“Oh no!  Bella baby, please don’t stop!  I’ll be good!  I swear I’ll be good!” he cried out.

Bella had to fight the giggle that was threatening to erupt.  She had never had this kind of power over Carlisle, and to hear him beg her that way made her forget her own desire momentarily.

She continued her ministrations.  Her venom dampened his beautiful cock as she sucked it into her mouth repeatedly.  On each upstroke she pressed her tongue flat against his frenulum, making Carlisle moan loudly.  His head tipped back; his mind lost in the sensations.

‘Hush now, don't say a word
I'm gonna give you what you deserve
Now you better give me a little taste
Put your icing on my cake
You nasty boy’

Bella slipped her fingers into the leather thong and dipped them into her core.  Carlisle’s head shot upright with wide open eyes.  He could not see it, but he heard as her fingers slipped into the very place that he wanted to be at that moment.  However, he was incapable of complaining as her mouth continued to work him over.  The world could have ended at that moment and he wouldn’t have noticed.

Her mouth—her teeth—her tongue, they operated together to bring him to a place of exquisite pleasure.  Bella could feel his release was near, so she quickly stood releasing his wanting member into the cooler air of the room.

“Wha…” he began to object, but was silenced as Bella stuck her dripping fingers into his mouth.

The taste of her honey nearly made him cum, yet again she was gone from him all too soon.  She stepped back and reached for the ties at the top of her boots and Carlisle whimpered in dismay.

“Bella baby, please… leave the boots on?”

She quirked her head to the side in question. “Really?”

He nodded quickly looking much more like his physical age of twenty-three.  Bella shrugged, and instead went to the zipper at the center of her cleavage and began to slowly pull downward.  Carlisle sat and stared with the eyes of a starving man as each click of the teeth revealed a little more of her smooth alabaster skin.  The corset found its place in the growing pile of leather, leaving Bella naked except for her thong and boots.

‘Oh no, oh there I go again
I need a spanking, 'cause I've been bad’

Bella slapped her ass on the word ‘spanking’, and in a millisecond, she heard the wood of the chair as it splintered under Carlisle’s iron grip.  She saw the annihilated arms and back of the chair fall to the ground as Carlisle had her in his arms; silk scarves intact and still wrapped around his biceps and wrists.

“Carlisle.” She growled in warning.

“Loophole.” He smiled. “You never said I couldn’t break the chair, just the scarves.”

Bella’s retort was silenced as his tongue attacked hers full force.  It was her turn to moan as he pressed his titanium rod against the leather at her heated center.

Carlisle released her mouth as he tossed her to the bed, “I’m hungry.”

He lowered his mouth to the apex of her thighs and licked the wet leather before pulling at the strings to open up his most sought after prize.  Before the scrap of hide fell to the floor his mouth and tongue were delving deep into Bella’s secret garden.

She screamed in rapture as he forced his tongue in between her silken folds.  His nose pressed against her swollen bundle of nerves as it peaked out from its hiding spot.  Bella moaned and writhed on the bed as she felt her climax begin to reach its peak but then he was gone.

Carlisle had her in his arms and pressed against the outer wall of the room a second later as he entered her.

“Yes!” she moaned as each glorious inch of him filled her completely.

All Carlisle could do was growl.  The animal inside was unleashed, and he would not be denied.  Plaster and sheetrock crumpled around them as he drove into her harder and harder with each subsequent thrust.  Her nails scratched the impermeable skin of his back.  His hands grabbed and pinched at her ass.  Pushing with everything he had he penetrated her deeper.  Her juices poured out of her as her inner walls quivered around his dick.

“More!  Harder!” Bella screamed, needing him so desperately.

Two pairs of onyx eyes bore into each other, willing their bodies to merge into one.  He pressed into her with all the strength he had until Bella felt the night air tickling her back.  She met his every thrust, slamming her pelvis down onto his.  Her heels dug into his lower back.  Their moans turned to growls and hissing as Bella leaned her head away from his.  Turning her head, she exposed his mark on her neck.

“Now Carlisle!” she screamed, and without hesitation he sunk his teeth into her marble skin.

Cries of pleasure exploded from her and echoed off the trees surrounding their property as her body found the release it had been pleading for.  Bella’s neck muffled Carlisle as he screamed out his mutual pleasure as he pistoned into her tightened walls and shot his cum deep within her.  Ribbons of his very essence coated her inner sanctum while his venom once more coursed through her body.

He licked her wound closed as she looked up at the stars overhead.   He continued to lave it even after it was healed.  It was his way to apologize for the pain he knew it caused her.  Bella purred in contentment as her body continued to contract with the aftershocks of her orgasm.

They lay in each other’s embrace with the night air lapping at their skin.

“What a beautiful night,” Bella said in a blissed out voice.

“You make every night beautiful.  No star can hold a candle to the beauty I hold in my arms,” Carlisle whispered into her ear.

His words left her speechless so she kissed him instead.  It did not escape her attention that they had literally fucked their way through a wall.  She giggled against his lips.

Carlisle pulled away with a perplexed look on his face, “What is so amusing, My Bella?”

She laughed out loud now. “Even in my worst newborn moment, I never took out a wall ‘Mr. The Epitome of Self-Control’,” she teased.

He smiled down at the way her smile lit up her whole face. “What can I say?  You bring out the animal in me.”

“Mmmm, speaking of animals…”

Carlisle knew a good hunt was better than a post coital cigarette for a human.  He looked into her burnt orange eyes.  “Would you like to go for a late night hunt Isabella?” he asked as he licked over his renewed mark on her neck once more.

“Oh, that feels soooo good.” She writhed beneath him. “But my throat is starting to burn.”

Carlisle dragged his tongue up over her chin and pressed a chaste kiss to her lips. “Then we shall hunt.  We have forever to continue this,” he added smiling.

He stood up pulling Bella with him; old habits die hard.  She looked at the gaping hole in their bedroom with an exaggerated frown.

“What do we do about this?” she asked gesturing to the exposed mortar and beams.

Carlisle’s phone began to vibrate, and he stepped into the room to quickly snatch it up.

“Alice,” they said in unison.

“Hello, Alice,” he said as he slid the phone open. “Mmm hmm.  Alright, I will let her know.”

Bella had slinked into the washroom to clean the plaster lath and grass from her hair.  She walked back into the room to a smiling Carlisle.  His beauty never failed to stun her.  He was an angel put on this earth for her.  He watched as her eyes caressed him and smiled at the pure love that radiated off of her.

“My love, you should get dressed.  The others are on their way back to begin construction on the new deck and sun room.” He gave her an all knowing smirk.

“How did you…?  Alice.” She huffed. “Do you mind if we add a deck off of the room?” she asked a little hesitantly.

Carlisle had her wrapped in his marble arms a second later. “Whatever makes you happy—makes me happy sweetheart.”

She looked into his honey colored eyes and smiled serenely. “Really?”

“Absolutely,” he assured her, “now get dressed quickly.”

He gave her a quick swat on her hind quarters and she squealed as she scurried into the closet to grab something to wear.  Carlisle went to throw the remnants of his desk chair into the fire, remembering with perfect recall the events leading up to its destruction.  He found the leather thong Bella had been wearing and brought it up to his face to inhale the enticing perfume that still lingered.  He did not realize till he heard the gasp of horror that Emmett was the first to arrive home.

“Oh my God!  My eyes!  I’m blind!  I’m scarred for life!  Rosie baby, get the bleach!  I just saw our dad’s naked ass!”

Bella, having heard all this, came out of the closet after slipping on a t-shirt and denim shorts, to find Emmett feeling around like a blind man with his eyes locked shut.  She burst out into a fit of laughter as the others broke through the edge of the woods.  Carlisle shook his head in exasperation before heading into the closet to throw on a pair of cargo shorts and a polo.

Emmett was still stumbling around when the others stepped through the new ‘door’.

“Jeez Bella!” Rosalie called out admiring the damage, “At least you didn’t take down the whole wall.”

“Don’t look at me! That was all Carlisle’s doing,” she responded with her hands up in defense.

Jasper was taking in the jagged edges of brick and mortar nodding in approval.  Alice stood back with a knowing smirk on her face.

“See, I told you we were going to need ‘all that stuff’,” she expressed with air quotes as she spoke directly to Emmett who had yet to open his eyes.

Carlisle, now fully clothed, joined the others. “Open your eyes for Pete’s sake, Emmett.  Everyone is decent,” he chastised as he looped his arms around Bella’s shoulders before kissing her on the temple.

Emmett slowed peaked one eye open and the other soon followed when he had ascertained that he would not be greeted by any more nakedness.

“Damn, Carlisle.  That is just not cool.  You know that once you have seen something it can’t be undone.  I am going to carry that for eternity,” Emmett berated as he shivered with the obvious flashback.

Everyone laughed out loud.

“You don’t have a leg to stand on, son.  There is not a member of this family who hasn’t seen your hind end at least a time or two,” Carlisle retorted.

Everyone but Rosalie shivered this time.

“Come, my love.  Let’s go see what we can scare up in the woods this time of night.” Carlisle released Bella only to take hold of her hand.

“Have fun you two.  We will see you in the morning!” Rosalie called out as she pulled her hair into a quick ponytail to start the work on the new addition.

“Thanks guys!” Bella’s voice trailed behind her as she and Carlisle sprinted into the forest.

It was pitch black as they ran deeper into the thick of the woods.  The light of the moon and stars could not penetrate through the layers of flora.  It made no difference to them, since they could see as if it was a clear sunny day.  Bella felt giddy as she and Carlisle raced through the darkness; their fingers laced together.  Carlisle looked to his left to take in the beauty that was his Bella.  Each and every day he sent a prayer of thanks to God for allowing him to have her in his life.

Bella’s eyes met his, and she smiled as she looked on him with such adoration.  She loved him more than life itself, and she would strive every day to make sure that he knew it.

They ran for a while longer until they came across the spicy scent of a bear.  From the sound of it, there was only one.  Bella was thirsty, but she knew she could wait.  After all, she had hunted hours earlier with Jasper and Emmett.  Carlisle had an idea.  He knew it could be dangerous, but he really wanted this and believed that Bella could handle it.

“Bella, would you like to share a meal with me?” he asked.

Bella stopped short.  The shock clearly written on her face was replaced by anxiety then fear.  She shook her head rapidly from side to side as she stepped back in reflex.

“I don’t want to hurt you.  I might…I might attack you.  Jasper said it was dangerous to be too close to me when I hunt,” she stuttered out.

Carlisle smiled at her reassuringly. “I don’t believe that you will hurt me, My Bella.  You have shown great control these last few weeks, and you are not starving right now, are you?”

Bella shook her head but slower this time.

“And if you didn’t hunt right now, you would still be fine, correct?”

Bella nodded just as slow.

Carlisle went on, “And if it is my kill that I am offering to you, then you have nothing to protect, wouldn’t you agree?”

Bella thought on this for a minute before nodding even slower.

Carlisle pulled her into his protective embrace.  He kissed her forehead, her eyes and nose then finally her lips.

“This is something that would give me great pleasure to share with you,” he whispered.

His breath ghosted over her lips, causing her to forget what he was talking about as she became drunk on his scent.  She wanted Carlisle to be happy and would gladly give him anything he wanted, but this—this could kill him.

Sensing her reluctance he kissed her softly trailing his lips to her ears. “Trust me, My Bella.  You will not hurt me.”

His whisper held the hint of his dominance in those last five words, and she knew right then and there that no matter what, she would not hurt him.  She nodded in acceptance, and he released his hold on her.  He reached for her left hand and kissed her forth finger above his ring.

“Come.  I will take the bear down and begin to drink.  Then you will join me.”

Bella nodded once more, seemingly incapable of finding her voice.

Carlisle released her hand as soon as the bear was in sight.  She felt her natural instinct pull her towards the bear, but she dug down deep to a stronger desire—a desire to please Carlisle and to keep him safe.  That is what she focused on as Carlisle showed his trust in her and turned his back on his newborn mate.  He wouldn’t let her know it, but he was a little nervous that Bella might attack him.  But he buried that down and focused on what he planned to do.

He paced towards the sleeping bear, and when there were merely fifty feet between him and the beast, he leapt and landed directly behind it.  He snapped the bear’s neck before it ever knew he was there.

Bella panted as she fought her inner battle to take the animal away from Carlisle.  Her hands clenched and released repeatedly in an attempt to calm herself.  She found it easier once the heart had stopped beating; thankful for Carlisle’s quick and humane practice.  She watched as his teeth sunk into the skin.  The smell of its delicious blood wafted on the breeze eliciting a slight growl from within her.

Carlisle never lost himself in the kill like many others of their kind did, so he was fully aware of every move Bella made.  He watched as she stiffened in her stance and seemed at war with herself.  As he drank from the bear, he motioned for Bella to join him.  She approached slowly; her gait was rigid and tense.  She slowly knelt down across from Carlisle with the bear in between them.  This was the closest she had been to any of them during a meal.  The blood called to her, but she could not bring herself to unclench her jaw.  She did not trust herself not to attack Carlisle instead of the bear.

Carlisle released his hold on the bear.  Blood glazed his perfect lips as he commanded, “Drink Isabella.”

He returned to his meal, never releasing her from his stare.  Bella leaned in over the bear and bit into the flesh near its leg.  The blood poured into her mouth and down her waiting throat.  Her eyes closed as her body relaxed under the healing power of the heated elixir.  Carlisle smiled as he continued to drink from the massive animal.  Bella felt his eyes on her and opened hers to see his gaze burning back.

Having finished drinking his fill, Carlisle slowly made his way around the bear to sit beside Bella while she finished off what was left.  He resisted licking his lips, knowing full well that some blood remained on them.  He reached towards Bella as she kept a steady watch, wondering what he was doing.  Then she felt it—his touch.  She stiffened for a moment, but then let go as Carlisle’s fingers brushed over her hair.  He stroked her gently as she drank more of the blood.  It was an amazingly complex blend of feelings.  She had never combined the satisfaction of feeding along with the security of Carlisle’s love.  It was spell-binding.  She could feel her need for him grow to that which was far beyond her need for the blood.

She pulled away even though there was still more to take.   Her gaze never left him as she noticed the blood still moist on Carlisle’s lips.  She reached for his shoulder as she straddled his waist and ran her tongue over Carlisle’s open mouth to taste the fusion that was distinctly him blended with the blood.  It was a heady combination, luring her in to deepen the kiss as she tried to draw out every last drop of the concoction.  Carlisle encouraged her as she began to rub up against his solid erection.  His hands grabbed her ass as she rode him slowly over their clothes.  Their tongues danced between their mouths as he too savored the disarming amalgamation of Bella’s taste mixed with the blood she had been drinking.

Their breathing picked up till they were both panting with need.  Carlisle could feel Bella’s desire as if it was an aura around her.  He made quick work of their clothes, stripping them both down to nothing.  He tossed them aside and was hovering over his own personal woodland goddess a moment later.  The nearby creatures of the night had been silent, but something in the air brought them back to life as their sounds became the symphony to which he would have her by.  His hands caressed and touch every inch of Bella while his lips, having finally parted from hers, paid homage to her flawless skin.  Her body hummed with need until she could wait no more.

“Carlisle, make love to me,” She pleaded.

“I could find no greater joy,” he whispered against her ear as he sunk his manhood deep within her, effectively joining their bodies as they were meant to be.

“Ahhh,” Bella moaned in delight as her body surrendered to its other half.

They moved together in perfect synchronization.  Carlisle gazed down at Bella as her now slightly more golden eyes stared back at him.  He did not need a gift to know that no one could ever love him as much as she did.  He could feel it.  He could taste it.  He could hear it in everything that she did.

Bella shifted her hips up to meet Carlisle’s; not to urge him to go faster, but to make sure that on each and every thrust that they were connected as deeply as their bodies would allow.  His venom had always run through her, but now he also had her venom in him.  Through sharing the blood of the bear, her venom mixed in and he felt it as he drank.  They were now as close as any two vampires could be.  She was as much a part of him as he was in her.  Carlisle knew it—he could feel it as he made love to her now.  He was nearly overpowered by this awareness.

He felt the coil tighten deep within his belly, but refused to cum without her.  He pressed his pelvic bone down onto her sensitive clit and whispered so soft that it was nearly impossible for Bella to hear.

“Cum with me, Isabella.”

She pushed up against him and felt her body give Carlisle exactly what he desired.  Their eyes locked as they hit their precipice together.  His hot seed mixed with her tonic as he swelled within her tightening walls.   They stopped breathing as their orgasm seemed to reach its pinnacle over and over.  It would not stop.  Carlisle did not move.  He stayed seated deep inside of Bella as their consecutive climaxes set every synapsis on fire.  The muscles throughout their bodies contracted with complete and total rapture for over twenty minutes until finally the waves of ecstasy began to ebb.

Carlisle stayed where he was as he drank in the blissful look on Bella’s face.  She stared back at him trying to find the words, but was at an epic fail.

“My Bella, are you alright?” he asked, after several minutes of silence he became concerned over her lack of communication.

Her eyes widened in shock.  Then she smiled brightly up at the beautiful sex god who was still entwined with her.

“Can we do that again?”

A Voice in the Darkness-Chapter 1

***Not sure how this ended up separated on the blog from the rest of the chapters, but here is the beginning of AVitD.  Hope you enjoy.***

Disclaimer: Stephenie Meyer owns the world of Twilight and all that is contained therein.  I am just borrowing her characters for a little while.

What if Edward did not take the dramatic route and wait till noon to step into the sun in Volterra?  What if Alice and Bella were incapable of getting to him in time?  What if he was not the only casualty of bad timing and misread visions?

This story takes us down an alternate path than what we followed in New Moon.  The Cullen’s are no longer whole and Bella is so badly damaged that she may be unreachable as she closes herself off to the pain of the outside world.

Can a new love save her?  Can his voice pull her from the darkness?

This story is rated NC-17 for major angst, suicide and the possibility of far off lemons (who am I kidding?  If you have read any of my stories, you know there will be lemons…but not for a while).

This story begins when Alice has her vision of Bella cliff jumping.

Chapter 1~ When It All Went Wrong

Alice was frantic as she ran and grabbed her passport, purse and suitcase.  She kept mumbling different phrases so fast that even Jasper was unable to understand her.  Her mood switched from panicked to mournful to thoughtful and focused in mere seconds.  Jasper tried to send her waves of calm but her emotions, as erratic as they were, were too strong to succumb to his gift.  Carlisle was at the hospital while Emmett and Esme were in town getting supplies for a new project she was working on.  Rose was in the garage and though she could hear Alice’s activities, she dismissed it as Alice being Alice.  Jasper was getting concerned when she began packing her suitcase.

Alice darlin’, what is going on?  What are you doing?”

She stopped abruptly as if she hadn’t realized that he had been there watching her for the last several minutes.

“Oh Jasper…it’s terrible!  I had a vision.  It was of Bella.”

She paused.  She didn’t want to say this out loud.  Jasper sensed an overwhelming wave of loss and mourning flow from Alice as her eyes glazed over with venom tears.  Her lip quivered.

“Oh God Jasper…Bella jumped off a cliff.  She’s…she’s gone, Jasper!  Bella is dead!”

She ran into Jasper’s arms sobbing tearlessly as he held her to him; caressing her spiky black hair.

“Ali darlin’, are you sure?  You know your visions aren’t always certain.  Maybe she just fell and she will be okay.” he said in an attempt to give her hope.

Jasper knew what it did to Alice when she had to leave Bella behind.  She truly considered Bella her sister.

Alice was shaking her head into his chest.

“No Jazz.  She jumped.  She didn’t even scream or look afraid.  She looked sad and tired.  She just stepped off the cliff and fell into the water; never resurfacing,” she said as she sobbed.

Jasper again sent her waves of calm and this time they helped.  She settled down slightly, but her sense of loss was still just as strong.

“I need to go back for Charlie,” she spoke into his strong chest, “I need to say goodbye to my sister and try my best to help Charlie through this.”

“Do you want me to come with you?” he offered.

She looked up into his golden eyes and saw the love and concern he had for her.  She also saw the guilt that had been there everyday since Bella’s disastrous birthday party.  She ran her hand down the side of his face and cupped his cheek with her palm.

“No,” she said shaking her head, “I won’t be gone long.  Maybe a week or two.  Stay here and let everyone know what happened.  Esme is going to need you when she hears the news.  I will call you when I get to Forks.”

Jasper nodded in understanding.  Alice never knew how much Bella explained about the family leaving, and Jasper wasn’t sure if Charlie put any of the blame on him.  He watched her as she latched her suitcase closed.  It was only a carry-on since she still had a closet full of clothes at the house in Forks.  He pulled her to him and kissed her deeply.  He hated to be away from her even for a few days, but he knew that she felt that this was something she had to do.  Alice backed away kissing her finger then placing it on his nose.  They exchanged a soft smile and seconds later he heard the Ferrari roar to life and speed down their driveway to the main road.

Rosalie was in front of him before the sound of Alice’s car was out of ear shot.

“Where was Alice going with a suitcase?”

“Back to Forks,” his tone was lifeless.

“Why would she be going back there?” she asked with curiosity laced with distain.

She was never a fan of Forks and even less of one after Edward met Bella.  Jasper looked at her and spoke with a bit more maliciousness.

“Bella jumped off a cliff and killed herself.  Alice has gone back to say goodbye and help Charlie out in any way she can.”

“She what?  Why would she do that?”

Jasper shook his head, “Alice hasn’t been lookin’ in on her since we left.  Edward basically forbade her,” he paused as he stepped to the window looking in the direction that Alice had gone; maybe hoping to catch a glimpse, “but then a vision hit her hard without her even trying.  Bella jumped off a cliff into the water and never came back up.”

He spoke as if he was talking about the weather and was just relaying the facts.  But inside, his emotions were raging through him.  This is all my fault.  If I had not tried to attack her, Edward would have never left her and she would have never killed herself.  All my fault.

Rosalie stood there in Jasper and Alice’s room stunned by the news.  She never wanted Bella to be a part of their family, but she was incredibly sad over her death.  She thought back to the times that Esme and Alice had begged her to give Bella a chance since she was Edward’s mate.  Edward!  Someone needs to tell Edward.

“Jasper, you need to call Carlisle and Esme and let them know.”

He nodded, “Where are you going?”

She sighed heavily, “I’m going to call Edward.  He needs to know.”

Jasper was across the room in a millisecond with his hand on Rosalie’s arm, “Don’t you think we should wait till we hear from Alice before telling him?”

Rosalie just shook her head, “No, if it was me, I would want to know right away.  I think he will be more upset if we wait to tell him.  What is going to change between now and when Alice gets to Forks?”

Jasper let go of her arm as she walked at a human pace to her room where she left her phone.  Jasper was also in no hurry to deliver this news to Carlisle or Esme.  They had considered Bella a part of this family and leaving her had been very hard on them.  This was going to break Esme’s silent heart.

Jasper hit the speed dial number two on his phone and within two rings it was answered.

“Hello son.  How are you?” Carlisle’s smooth voice came through the phone.

Jasper stiffened his back preparing himself for the sad news he must convey.

“Carlisle, Alice had a vision and it was not good.  It was of Bella,” he paused to allow Carlisle a moment to prepare himself.  “Bella appears to have jumped off a cliff into the ocean and never resurfaced.  She is gone, Carlisle.”

There was silence on the other end of the phone.  Jasper could hear the sounds of the hospital in the background so he knew the connection was not lost.

Carlisle knew from the moment he heard Jasper’s tone that this was not a social call, but he never expected this tragic news.  His dead heart felt as if it was breaking into a million pieces.  He loved Bella as did the rest of the family.  He never thought it was right to leave her, but knowing that Edward had chosen not to change her, he felt leaving was the only option.  It is not safe for a human to live amongst their kind indefinitely.  He understood Edward’s wish for Bella to live a long and normal, human life.  But this was not enough.  She should have lived to a ripe old age surrounded by her family and friends.  The world was robbed of a true treasure with the loss of a soul as good and loving as Bella’s.  He took a deep breath before responding.

“This is indeed very sad news.  Tragic even.  We must inform the rest of the family.  Who else knows?” Carlisle’s voice was laced with sadness.

“Rosalie is calling Edward right now.  Alice is already on her way to Forks to be there for Charlie.  If you would prefer to tell Esme, I would understand.”

Carlisle nodded then verbally responded, “Yes, I think that is best.  Thank you Jasper.  I will call her and Emmett right now.  It is time to go back to Forks and say goodbye.”

Jasper may have been miles away from Carlisle, but his emotions were so heavy on the phone that Jasper felt his pain through the center of him.

Carlisle, I am sorry to have to give you this news.”

“Thank you son.  We all knew this day would come, but I never expected it so soon.  I will see you as soon as I can make arrangements to take the time off.”

They ended their phone call as Jasper heard Rosalie’s voice carry from her room.

“Edward?  Edward?  Please say something,” she paused, “Edward?  This was not your fault.  She was human.  Death would have found her someday.  You know this.  Edward, please say something, anything?”

There was a haunting silence that fell upon the house.  Then Rosalie heard it.  What would be the last word her brother ever spoke to her.

“Goodbye.”

The phone disconnected.  Jasper was at the door to Rosalie and Emmett’s room in a flash as she redialed her phone.  It went to voicemail.

“Edward!  Please call me back!  Call someone back!  Please,” her voice was frantic, “just call us.  We love you Edward.”

She hung up and redialed a second time, and again it went to voicemail.  She disconnected.

“What have I done?” she asked Jasper as her eyed filled with venom.

“You did what needed to be done.  He just needs some time.  Come on Rose.  Let’s get packed.  I talked to Carlisle and we are all going back to Forks.”

Rosalie nodded and composed herself as she sped around her room packing for her and Emmett.

“I’ll get bags packed for Esme and Carlisle too once I am done here.”

“Thank you Rose.”

Jasper walked back to his and Alice’s room at a human pace as he hit the speed dial number four.  The generic voicemail answered.

“Edward, I wanted to let you know that I am immensely sorry about Bella and that the family is on their way back to Forks for the funeral.  Please call me and let me know that you got this message.”

Jasper closed his phone ending his message.  He began packing his bag as his guilt started to weigh him down.  None of this would have happened if he had hunted the day of Bella’s birthday party.  He knew he should have, but Alice wanted to make a last minute run into Port Angeles to get some more candles and decorations.  She asked me to go and I never wanted to say no to Alice.  When the paper slid through Bella’s layers of skin, I heard the blood as it was released into the air.  I realized a moment too late what was happening as the blood lust of everyone else compiled on me like the weight of Mount Everest.  I couldn’t hold it and keep my head clear.  Before I knew it, all hell was breaking loose and all I wanted was Bella’s blood.  If I had hunted, I would have stayed in control.  But I didn’t and now we are going to bury our human sister.

Jasper was pulled from his self flagellations as he heard a gasp at his door.  He turned to see Rosalie grasping the door frame trying to keep herself upright; the wood splintering under her strength.  Jasper felt his guilt bouncing off of her and back at himself.  He focused on releasing the guilt and worked on forcing a calm façade to take over allowing Rosalie to feel the same.  Her breathing went back to normal and she stood back up.  She didn’t need to be a mind reader to know what he was thinking.

“Jasper, you can’t take this all on yourself.  So many things went wrong that day.  We all knew Edward was doubting his relationship with Bella after the James situation.  It was only a matter of time before he killed her or pushed her away,” she said as she reached out to grasp his shoulder.

Rosalie was not an affectionate person like Alice or Esme, but she had compassion.

Jasper nodded but said nothing.  They turned towards the back of the house as Esme and Emmett made their way in from the garage.  Jasper took Esme into his strong arms and held her as she cried tearlessly as Rosalie did the same for Emmett.  Emmett may seem to be the strongest and most fierce some of the Cullen’s, but he was as tender as they came and he loved Bella as if she was his true sister.  They sat quietly in the living room waiting for Carlisle to arrive.  Once he did, they would be on their way back to Forks.

~*~

Alice arrived at the Swan house a little after dark.  There was no one there.  There was a lingering wolf scent in the air, but it was at least a day old.  She worried about Charlie’s safety if he was socializing with the Quileute wolves.  She had never interacted with them, but she was familiar with the stories that Carlisle and the others had told.

She sat and waited in the Ferrari, but no one came.  She ran over the vision again and again hoping to see it end differently, but each time it was the same.  Bella stepped off the cliff.  She didn’t scream or cry out as she plummeted to the water below.  There were waves crashing with the impending storm, and the wind howled unmercifully.  There was no sign of Bella breaking the surface.  At that point her vision went blank.  She wept for the loss of her best friend; her sister.  She wished she could have Jasper there with her, but she knew that she would see him when they arrived the next day.  She sat in the dark and remembered all the fun she and Bella shared and how much it hurt to abandon her.  I should have stopped Edward from leaving.  I never should have agreed to leave with the family.  She needed me and I left her because Edward thought it was for the best.  Alice sobbed dry tears as she realized that her vision of a vampire Bella would never come to be.  She was gone and no amount of venom could undo that.

Alice took a moment to try and look into Charlie’s future and did not see him returning to the house anytime soon.  So, she made her way over to the Cullen house to open it up for the family.  As she drove she was hit with dual visions.  The first one was of Bella.  She was alive!  She was in her room shivering and getting ready for bed.  The other was of a distraught Edward.  This vision was fuzzy and switched versions so fast that even with her vampire senses she could not make heads or tails of it.  She knew he destroyed his phone so there was no point trying to call him.  She would deal with her vision of Bella first.  She hit the breaks and spun her car around to race back to Bella’s house.  When she pulled up she saw the light on in Bella’s room and she couldn’t help the smile that spread across her face.  She jumped from the car to the tree and through Bella’s window as fast as the wind.

Bella stumbled back in surprise; her heart racing in her chest.  Then realizing that it was Alice, she threw herself into the pixie’s arms.  Alice began demanding to know what happened.

“How are you alive?  I saw you jump!  What were you doing trying to kill yourself?!?”

Before Bella could respond to the barrage of question Alice stopped cold.  Bella knew she was having a vision and waited for it to finish.  The look that crossed Alice’s face was one of shear pain and anguish.  Alice had another vision of Edward, but this time it was clear and absolutely horrific.

“No!  No!  Edward, please stop!” Alice cried out.
